Legacy Software

Legacy software refers to old or outdated software systems that are still in use but may no longer be actively supported or maintained.

Legacy software is often built using outdated programming languages or technologies and can be difficult to update, scale, or integrate with modern systems. While these systems may still perform their intended functions, they often lack flexibility, security, and compatibility with newer tools.

Many businesses continue using legacy systems because they are deeply embedded in daily operations or contain critical business data. However, relying on such systems can increase operational risks and technical debt over time.
